Yoga

Restorative yoga sessions are deeply nourishing and helpful for anyone experiencing chronic stress and anxiety. I will use a variety of bolsters, blankets and pillows to support your body in positions that relieve tension and induce calm throughout the nervous system. Unlike a group class, where you have to set up your own props for each new position, you will be able to savor more luxurious transitions since I will be there to do all the work for you. 


Chair Yoga

Experience a complete yoga session without ever having to worry about getting up and down from the floor! Chair Yoga will relieve stiff muscles and joints, nourish the organs, calm the nervous system, improve balance and increase concentration just as well as other styles of yoga. 


Yoga Therapy / Lifestyle Consultation

Trained as a yoga therapist, I am especially skilled at adapting a wide range of  yogic techniques to meet your specific needs. The benefits of cultivating a personal practice are in direct proportion to the level of attention and commitment you apply. Depending on your goals and interests, sessions may include:

movement ~ breath awareness / breath control ~ relaxation techniques ~ techniques to enhance concentration / mindfulness ~ cleansing practices ~ bodywork ~ suggestions for sleeping, eating and working in alignment with yogic principles

*Please note that my work as a yoga therapist does not involve diagnosing, treating or healing any mental or physical injuries or illnesses. Furthermore, my use of the term "yoga therapist" is based on my training in Integrative Yoga Therapy and is not derived from my status as an RYT with the Yoga Alliance. . 

All offerings will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours
